How we label each story
Every card carries one of four labels, and each label shows the strongest public evidence we found for that person. A label changes only when the evidence changes, for example when the person speaks about it in public.
We sort every celebrity hair transplant story by the strength of its evidence: confirmed by the person, reported by a credible outlet, or rumoured from photos alone. Ten of the 54 people below have said publicly that they had a transplant, and each card opens our full analysis of the hairline, the dates and the sources.

Ten people on this page have said publicly that they had a hair transplant, from Wayne Rooney in a 2011 tweet to Jorge Masvidal in 2026. Their own words are the source, so these are the cases you can quote with confidence.

Public figureConfirmedThree cases rest on credible media reports rather than the person's own words. Mohamed Salah, Danny Ings and Andy Murray have not confirmed a procedure, which is why they sit apart from the confirmed list.

Wayne Rooney, Rob Holding, Mohamed Salah, Danny Ings, David Beckham and David Silva: every player linked to a hair transplant, with the evidence for each, on one page.
Footballers With Hair TransplantsForty names here are rumours: there is no statement from the person and no credible report, only photos that fans compare over the years. We still look at each case closely, because a hairline tracked across dated photos usually says more than the gossip around it.

MusicianRumouredCynthia Erivo has never had a hair transplant, even though her name often comes up next to the topic. Her page follows her styles from buzz cut to braids. For men who kept a bald look instead, see famous bald men.
Ten celebrities on this page have confirmed a hair transplant in their own words: Wayne Rooney, Rob Holding, John Cena, Jorge Masvidal, Chris Bumstead, Tyray Mollett, Joel McHale, Akon, Theo Von and Joe Rogan. Three more, Mohamed Salah, Danny Ings and Andy Murray, have been reported by the media without confirming it themselves.
Wayne Rooney confirmed one hair transplant himself, in a 2011 tweet, and that first procedure rebuilt his hairline. He was later widely reported to have had a second procedure around 2013 for thinning on the crown, but that second one comes from reports, not from Rooney.
Elon Musk has never confirmed a hair transplant or said what he used, so any answer is a reading of photos rather than a fact. Pictures from the early 1990s show clear frontal thinning, and a faint linear scar seen in some later short haircuts is why many observers suspect an early FUT strip procedure followed by FUE touch ups.
There is no public confirmation that Bradley Cooper had a hair transplant, and nothing in the evidence we reviewed proves it. Most of the speculation focuses on a hairline change around 2008 and 2009, which is why his case sits with the rumours.
David Beckham has never confirmed or denied a hair transplant, and when thicker hair renewed the speculation in December 2018, his spokesperson called the matter private. Photos from 2018 show thinning on top and receding temples, while his fuller style in 2026 keeps the question alive, so any procedure is a reading of photos rather than a confirmed fact.
