Corrections Policy: How to Report an Error and How We Fix It
If you find a mistake on turkeyhaircenter. We review reports within a few working days, correct the page when the report is accurate, and mark any change that affects the meaning of what we published.
This policy sits alongside our editorial policy, which explains how articles are written, sourced and reviewed in the first place.
How to Report an Error
A useful report gives us enough to find the problem quickly. Please include:
The full address of the page, for example turkeyhaircenter.com/hair-transplant-cost/
The sentence, figure or image you think is wrong
What you believe is correct, with a link to your source if you have one
Your name, if you would like a reply
Send it to info@turkeyhaircenter.com. You do not need to be a patient to report an error, and reports from other clinics and doctors are welcome too.
If your message is about your own treatment, a complaint about a booking or a request to change your personal data, it is handled separately from content corrections. Personal data requests follow our privacy policy.
What Happens After You Report
Each report is handled in the same order:
We read the report and find the passage on the live page.
We check it against sources. For health content this means the studies and official guidance the page relies on; for prices it means our published package list.
We decide what kind of change is needed, using the table below.
We update the page and, if you gave us an email address, reply to say what we changed or why we did not.
We aim to review reports within a few working days. Complex medical questions can take longer because they need the doctor who reviewed the page.
Types of Changes
Not every correction is the same size. The type of change decides how it is shown on the page.
Type of change
Examples
How it is shown
Minor fix
Examples
Spelling, grammar, a broken link, formatting
How it is shown
Fixed without a note
Change in meaning
Examples
A wrong figure, an outdated recommendation, a claim that overstated the evidence
How it is shown
"Updated DD.MM.YYYY" note on the page with a short description
Removal
Examples
Content that cannot be supported by any reliable source
How it is shown
Section or page removed; the old address redirects to the closest accurate page
We do not change the date on a page unless its content has actually been checked again.
Corrections and Medical Review
Health content on this site is read and approved by Dr. Tompi before it carries a "Medically reviewed by" line. When a reported error affects medical information, the corrected text goes back to him before the review line stays on the page.
Some things this means in practice:
A wrong recovery timeline or complication rate is a change in meaning, not a minor fix.
If the evidence on a point has changed, we rewrite the passage instead of adding a footnote.
Celebrity pages carry no medical review line, so corrections there are checked by our editors against the public statements and sources the page cites.
What We Will Not Do
To keep corrections honest, we hold ourselves to a few limits:
We do not quietly edit a passage that changed in meaning without adding the update note.
We do not remove accurate information only because someone finds it inconvenient.
We do not promise a fixed response time; we review each report as soon as we can.
Contact
All correction reports go to info@turkeyhaircenter.com. For general questions about our service, the contact us page lists every way to reach the team.
If you came here with a question about your own hair loss rather than an error, the quickest route is a free hair analysis.
